Constraints prevent organizations from achieving their purpose.They limit or restricts the natural flow. Constraints can be in systems, processes, policies, people, information, or equipment.
The question is not what is the correlation between integrity and performance but rather why do we ignore what we know is true? The answer is that we don’t know how to develop more integrity in ourselves and our organizations.
The definition of integrity as adherence to a standard eludes us. The complexity of integrity as wholeness mystifies us. The idea of integrity as perfection is dismissed as impractical. Individually and collectively we all have integrity. All of us invest in right. The correlation between integrity, right and performance is a not secret but well understood.
Being-in-integrity increases well-being; being-out-of integrity creates ill-being.Doing is where being is actualized.
Simply put, being in integrity increases well-being and being out of integrity increases ill-being. Don’t let the learning from your own experiences take too long. If you have been doing it wrong for the last ten years, I would suggest that’s long enough!
